Misha Nonoo’s spring 2014 ready-to-wear collection is evidence that fashion is truly art. Nonoo’s collection is art that is actually pragmatic, wearable, comfortable and modern. With heavenly hues of sky blue, lilac, seagreen, turquoise, sunflower yellow, emerald and apricot, Nonoo’s collection is the essence of spring. Floral prints were in such abundance that the smell of roses, dandelions, and irises were said to be drifting from the runway. The spring 2014 collection with its sporadic splashes of stripes in all shades of the rainbow and its impressionistic-looking light brushstrokes of paint, makes it a cross between Monet and Van Gogh. With all the pastels and blooming flowers in the collection, one cannot help but want to have a garden party.
